Nintendo game bundles can save avid players lots of money. A DSi games bundle can save money in the end–if you get 30 games over the course of a year, you could actually save a third to a half of what you’d spend on individual games. The DSi Mario bundle is currently one of the most popular. Fortunately, several stores give really deals on 2 or more games when you get them together. Of course, sometimes you only need one single game! While Here are a few favorites:

DSiWare purchased using the DSi is NOT transferable to the DSi XL. Hopefully Nintendo will get that remedied soon!
The DSi XL and DSi are NOT compatible with Gameboy Advanced. Nintendo feels that the DSi is a third platform, rather than a replacement of the Gameboy—in the coming years, it will be interesting to see how this plays out among Gameboy and DS diehards.
The new DSi XL and DSi are both region-locked. For DSi, Nintendo has tailored services for Asia, Europe, and North America, so when you get the system in one region, you can only play Nintendo DSi game software bought in the same region.
The DSi console is compatible with DS and DS Lite games. Remember that DSi games and software is “backward compatible” with DS and DS Lite.
It is somewhat surprising that the DSi was such a hit considering that the DS Lite wasn’t that old upon its release. The same phenomenon seems to be taking place with the DSi XL, which has little improved functionality–but the size of the screen and speakers is proving to make the console very entertaining, allowing for sound clearer and louder than any model before it, plus a large screen allowing for moves more precise than the smaller models could cover visually.
